COVID-19 Workplace Health and Safety & Benefits: What Employers Need to Know Webinar
This webinar will provide businesses of all sizes, from the family-owned business to the corporate campuses, critical information they need for successful recovery in the COVID-19 environment.

The NJ Business Action Center, a state business advocacy agency, within the NJ Department of State will detail the services and benefits available to employers from government. The NJ Department of Labor will outline the health & safety standards required in a COVID 19 environment, plus providing critical information on the complex series of benefit programs available to workers and administered by employers. A robust question & answer period will follow the presentations.

New Jersey Redevelopment Authority

Small Business Lease Emergency Assistance Grant Program – Phase 2
This is a $5 million New Jersey Redevelopment Authority (NJRA) program that offers commercial rent relief with grants of up to $10,000 for COVID-impacted small businesses and nonprofits located in NJRA’s designated communities.

Applications for this program open Monday, February 22nd, at 9:00 a.m. and will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. The application will be on the NJRA website.

Eligible applicants include small businesses leasing commercial space in mixed-use buildings, small businesses leasing space in commercial buildings, small businesses leasing space to operate a storefront business, and small businesses occupying no more than 5,000 SF of space.

U.S. Small Business Administration

Shuttered Venue Operators Grant
The Shuttered Venue Operators (SVO) Grant program was established by the Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act.

The program includes $15 billion in grants to shuttered venues, to be administered by the SBA’s Office of Disaster Assistance.

Eligible applicants may qualify for SVO Grants equal to 45% of their gross earned revenue, with the maximum amount available for a single grant award of $10 million. $2 billion is reserved for eligible applications with up to 50 full-time employees.
